Description

These Easy French Dip Sliders are the ultimate crowd-pleasing recipe! Perfect for dinner or a party, these sliders feature tender roast beef, melted cheese, and flavorful au jus, all baked to golden perfection. They’re quick to make and guaranteed to impress your guests with minimal effort

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls work great)
  • 1 pound deli roast beef (thinly sliced)
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth (for au jus)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1 packet au jus mix (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the provolone cheese over the buns.
  4. Add an even layer of roast beef, followed by the remaining cheese. Top with the other halves of the buns.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
  6. Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. While the sliders bake, prepare the au jus according to the packet instructions or heat beef broth on the stovetop.
  9. Serve the sliders warm with au jus on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms between the beef and cheese layers.
  • You can swap provolone for Swiss or mozzarella cheese.
