Description

These Easy Creamy Garlic Sauce Baby Potatoes are the perfect side dish for any meal. Tender baby potatoes are roasted to perfection and smothered in a rich, creamy garlic sauce. This dish combines the comforting taste of potatoes with the indulgent flavor of garlic cream sauce, making it a family favorite.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Potatoes:
    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    2. Toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
    3. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and tender, flipping halfway through.
  2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
    1. While the potatoes are roasting, heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden brown (be careful not to burn the garlic).
    2. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
    3. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Combine the Potatoes and Sauce:
    1. Once the potatoes are roasted, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large serving bowl. Pour the creamy garlic sauce over the potatoes and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Serve:
    1. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy with your favorite main dish!
