These Easy Beef Teriyaki Skewers are a delicious and simple dish perfect for grilling season. Tender flank steak is marinated in a flavorful teriyaki sauce and grilled to perfection on skewers.
Ingredients
– 1 1/2 pound flank steak
– 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
– 1/2 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
– 16 inch wooden skewers (12)
– For Teriyaki Sauce:
– 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
– 1/4 cup water
– 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
– 2 tablespoon brown sugar
– 3 cloves garlic (minced)
– 2 teaspoon fresh ginger (minced)
– 2 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch to make the teriyaki sauce.
2. Cut flank steak into thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
3. Thread the steak strips onto wooden skewers and brush with teriyaki sauce.
4. Grill skewers over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
Notes
– For a sweeter teriyaki sauce, add more brown sugar.
– Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
