Description

Dragon Sauce is a savory and slightly spicy sauce perfect for adding a kick to your favorite dishes. This versatile sauce combines the umami flavor of soy sauce with the sweetness of honey and a hint of heat from sriracha.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Main Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to spice preference)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sriracha. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water until dissolved.
  2. Cook the sauce: Bring the saucepan to a simmer over medium heat. Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Serve: Remove from heat and let the sauce cool slightly before using it as a flavorful addition to your favorite dishes.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spice level of the sauce by increasing or decreasing the amount of sriracha used.
  • Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
