- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice

- Ginger beer, to top
- Fresh thyme sprigs or rosemary, for garnish
- Crushed ice
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries with simple syrup until well mashed.
- Add bourbon, lemon juice, and bitters to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture over crushed ice in a rocks glass.
- Top with a splash of ginger beer.
- Garnish with additional blackberries and a sprig of thyme or rosemary.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
