Description
Treat yourself and your loved ones to a luxurious seafood experience with these Decadent Butter Seared Lobster Tails. The lobster tails are cooked to perfection in rich, garlicky butter, resulting in a tender and flavorful dish that’s perfect for any special occasion or elegant dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails (about 5–6 ounces each)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tails lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull apart the shell and use your fingers to loosen the lobster meat, but keep it attached at the base.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush the lobster meat with 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bake the lobster tails for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
- While the lobster tails are baking, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Remove the lobster tails from the oven and drizzle with the garlic butter and lemon juice. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For an even richer flavor, you can add a splash of white wine or a tablespoon of heavy cream to the garlic butter sauce.
- If you prefer your lobster tails to have a crispier texture, you can broil them for 1-2 minutes after baking.
- Lobster tails can be served as a main dish or paired with sides like mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
