Description

This Cube Steak recipe is a classic comfort food dish that is juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Perfect for a hearty family dinner!


Ingredients

– 1/2 cup Vegetable oil

– 1 large onion, sliced

– 1/3 cup Flour

– 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

– 1/2 tsp Salt

– 1/2 tsp Pepper

– 1 1/2 lbs Cubed Steak

– 14 oz Beef Broth

– 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix

– 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce


Instructions

1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge cubed steak in flour mixture.

3. Brown the steak on both sides in the hot oil. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent.

5. Return the steak to the skillet. Add beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

6. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice.


Notes

– For extra flavor, you can add mushrooms or bell peppers to the dish.

– To make the dish healthier, you can use leaner cuts of steak or substitute with chicken breast.
