Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to 1/2-inch thickness)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)
For the Garlic Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken:

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of panko and parmesan.

Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat in the parmesan-panko mixture, pressing to adhere.

Cook the Chicken:

Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

Make the Garlic Sauce:

In the same pan, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter.
