Description

This Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich combines tender chicken cutlets coated in a crispy breadcrumb mixture with a creamy Caesar dressing and fresh romaine lettuce, all served on a French baguette for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Chicken:

  • 5 chicken cutlets

Flour Mixture:

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

Egg Mixture:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Breadcrumbs Mixture:

  • 3/4 cup panko crumbs
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Assembly:

  • 2 romaine hearts chopped
  • 12 French baguettes
  • Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare Caesar Dressing: In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken: Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, coat in breadcrumbs mixture, and fry until golden and crispy.
  3. Assemble Sandwich: Spread Caesar dressing on baguette slices, add crispy chicken, top with chopped romaine lettuce, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
