- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (or breadcrumbs)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the crushed crackers, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat it with the cracker-cheese mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking dish. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the coating is golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use a wire rack over the baking sheet to allow heat circulation.
- Substitute Ritz crackers with panko breadcrumbs for a different texture.
