Description

This Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole is a comforting and delicious dish that the whole family will love. Tender chicken breasts are topped with gooey Swiss cheese and a creamy sauce, then baked until golden and bubbly.


Ingredients

– 3 large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

– 6 slices Swiss Cheese

– 10 3/4 oz Cream of Chicken Soup (1 can)

– 1 cup Milk

– 1/2 Onion, diced

– 1 1/2 cups Stuffing Mix (Stove Top)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared dish and season with salt and pepper.

3. Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese.

4. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, milk, diced onion, and stuffing mix.

5. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.

6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden brown.


Notes

– For a crunchy topping, mix some extra stuffing mix with melted butter and sprinkle it over the casserole before baking.

– Feel free to add some cooked broccoli or spinach to the casserole for extra veggies.
