Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Sauce & Rice:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 1 cup long-grain white rice (uncooked)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions

Sear the Chicken:

Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Sauté the Aromatics:

In the same pan, add butter, onions, and garlic.
