Description

This Crab Pasta Bake is a creamy and indulgent dish that combines imitation crab meat with penne pasta in a rich and flavorful sauce, topped with a cheesy crust.

  • 14 ounces imitation crab meat
  • 16 ounces penne pasta + water for boiling
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (half of a block)

Seasonings and Cheeses:

  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 cups mozzarella shredded
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook Pasta: Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a large skillet, melt butter, then add cream cheese, heavy cream, Old Bay Seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add cooked pasta and imitation crab meat to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce.
  5. Assemble and Bake: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella, parmesan, and shredded parmesan. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Notes
