Description

These hearty Cowboy Breakfast Sliders are a perfect way to start your day. Loaded with scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, savory sausage, and melted cheese, all on a soft slider bun, these sliders bring a taste of the wild west to your breakfast table!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 slider buns, split in half
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Remove and set aside.
  4. Layer the bottom half of the slider buns in the prepared baking dish. Spread the scrambled eggs over the buns, followed by the crumbled sausage, bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Place the top half of the slider buns on top and brush the tops with melted butter. For extra flavor, you can mix Dijon mustard and maple syrup in a small bowl and brush it over the buns as well.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can customize these sliders by adding other ingredients such as sautéed bell peppers, onions, or jalapeños.
  • These sliders are perfect for breakfast or brunch and can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
