- 8 slider buns, split in half
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Remove and set aside.
- Layer the bottom half of the slider buns in the prepared baking dish. Spread the scrambled eggs over the buns, followed by the crumbled sausage, bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the top half of the slider buns on top and brush the tops with melted butter. For extra flavor, you can mix Dijon mustard and maple syrup in a small bowl and brush it over the buns as well.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
