- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 lb breakfast sausage
- 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Prepare the Eggs:
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and scramble the eggs until cooked through. Set aside.
- Cook the Sausage:
- In the same skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
- Place the bottom half of the buns in a baking dish. Layer with scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, chopped bacon, and shredded cheese.
- Drizzle with barbecue sauce and top with the top half of the buns.
- Bake the Sliders:
- Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
