  • 1/4 cup dried potato flakes
  • 3 3/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

For the Toppings

  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add olive oil, salt, egg, potato flakes, flour, and cheeses. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  2. Rise and Shape: Let the dough rise until doubled. Shape into a loaf and let it rise again. Preheat the oven.
  3. Add Toppings and Bake: Mix garlic powder, Parmesan, oregano, parsley, and cheeses. Brush the loaf with water and sprinkle the toppings. Bake until golden.
