Description

These Cookies and Cream Rice Krispie Treats are a delicious twist on the classic treat, combining the flavors of chocolate creme sandwich cookies and marshmallows for a sweet and creamy dessert.

  • 30 chocolate creme sandwich cookies (such as Oreos®)
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 (13-ounce) jar marshmallow cream, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a large pot, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add Marshmallows: Stir in mini marshmallows and half of the marshmallow cream until melted and smooth.
  3. Mix in Cookies: Crush cookies and stir them into the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Add Cereal: Remove from heat and fold in vanilla extract and crisp rice cereal until well combined.
  5. Set: Press mixture into a greased pan and let cool before cutting into squares.
