Description

This Coconut Lavender Margarita is smooth, creamy, and infused with a hint of floral lavender. The tropical coconut blends beautifully with the tart lime and tequila for a unique, refreshing drink that’s perfect for summer or any special occasion!


Ingredients

For the Margarita:

  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz coconut cream (not coconut milk)
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice (about half a lime)
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1/2 oz lavender simple syrup (recipe below)
  • Ice

For the Lavender Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender

For Garnish:

  • Shredded coconut (for rim)
  • Lime wedge
  • Dried lavender sprigs

Instructions

  1. Make the Lavender Simple Syrup:

    1. In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to a simmer over medium heat.
    2. Stir until sugar dissolves, then add dried lavender.
    3. Simmer for 3–5 minutes, then remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes.
    4. Strain out the lavender and let cool.
  2. Prepare the Glass:

    1. Rim a margarita glass with lime juice, then dip in shredded coconut.
    2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Mix the Margarita:

    1. In a cocktail shaker, add tequila, coconut cream, lime juice, orange liqueur, lavender syrup, and ice.
    2. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Serve & Garnish:

    1. Strain into the prepared glass over ice.
    2. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of lavender.

Notes

  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with ice until smooth.
  • If you don’t have dried lavender, you can use lavender syrup from the store.
  • Swap coconut cream with coconut milk for a lighter version.
