Fudge Base
- 3 cups high-quality white chocolate chips or chunks
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
Topping
- 7 tablespoons cinnamon sugar, divided
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal of the fudge later.
- Melt the Chocolate and Butter: In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and salted butter. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Mix in Half the Cinnamon Sugar: Remove the pan from heat and immediately stir in half of the cinnamon sugar until well incorporated.
- Pour and Smooth: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula to smooth the surface.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar evenly over the top of the fudge.
- Chill the Fudge: Refrigerate the fudge uncovered for at least 4 hours or until completely set and firm to the touch.
- Cut and Serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into small squares. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Use high-quality white chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
- Be sure to stir constantly while melting to avoid burning the chocolate.
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- You can adjust the amount of cinnamon sugar topping to your taste preference.
- Allow fudge to come to room temperature for a softer texture before serving if desired.
