Units Scale

Steak

  • 1 1/4 pounds flank steak
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 lime zested and juiced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup minced cilantro
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Bowl

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 batch cilantro lime crema

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Add the flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the steak: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill steak to desired doneness, then let it rest before slicing.
  3. Assemble the bowls: Divide rice, black beans, corn, sliced steak, and avocado among serving bowls. Drizzle with cilantro lime crema.

Notes

  • You can customize the bowls with additional toppings like salsa, cheese, or hot sauce.
