Description

A decadent twist on the classic White Russian, this Chocolate White Russian adds rich, smooth chocolate flavors to the traditional combination of vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream. It’s perfect as an indulgent dessert drink or for any occasion when you want something sweet and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur (or chocolate syrup)
  • 2 oz heavy cream (or milk for a lighter option)
  • Ice cubes
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions

 

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the vodka, coffee liqueur, and chocolate liqueur (or syrup) over the ice.
  3. Slowly add the heavy cream, pouring it over the back of a spoon to layer the cream on top if desired.
  4. Stir gently to combine, or leave the layers for a more dramatic look.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an extra touch of indulgence.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a non-dairy version, substitute the heavy cream with almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk.
