Chocolate Custard:

- 1 tablespoon butter

Chocolate Tiramisu:
- 42 ladyfingers
- 2 cups hot chocolate cooled
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 16 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar divided
- 1/2 cup chocolate curls
Instructions
- Prepare Chocolate Custard: In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, milk, and cream. Cook until thickened. Add chocolate, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla. Cool.
- Assemble Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in hot chocolate and arrange in a dish. Mix mascarpone with sugar and vanilla. Layer ladyfingers, custard, and mascarpone. Repeat layers.
- Chill: Refrigerate for a few hours. Top with chocolate curls before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, add coffee liqueur to the hot chocolate.
