Description

Indulge in a decadent dessert with this creamy Chocolate Panna Cotta recipe. The rich dark chocolate pairs perfectly with the silky smooth texture of the panna cotta.

  • 1 1/4 cup (300ml) cream
  • 1 1/8 cup (250ml) milk
  • 3 leaves gelatine
  • 1 1/2 tbsp (20g) sugar
  • 3.5 oz (100g) dark chocolate 70% cacao, finely chopped
  • 1/2 vanilla pod

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a saucepan, combine cream, milk, and sugar. Heat over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Step 2: Add gelatine leaves to a bowl of cold water to soften.
  3. Step 3: Remove cream mixture from heat, add chopped dark chocolate, and stir until melted.
  4. Step 4: Squeeze excess water from gelatine leaves, then add to the chocolate mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  5. Step 5: Pour mixture into ramekins, refrigerate for a few hours until set.
  6. Step 6: Serve chilled, topped with desired garnishes.

  • *Gelatine conversion: 3 leaves = 6g powdered gelatine
