Description

Chicken Lazone is a flavorful and creamy pasta dish made with seasoned chicken strips, buttery cream sauce, and pasta. It’s a comforting and satisfying meal that is perfect for a family dinner or special occasion.


Ingredients

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

– 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

– 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

– 1 pound chicken breasts (boneless and skinless, cut into long strips)

– 4 tablespoon butter (unsalted, divided)

– 2 cups heavy cream

– 12 ounce spaghetti (or linguini)

– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)


Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, white pepper, and salt.

2. Season chicken strips with the spice mixture on both sides.

3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until browned on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. Add cooked chicken back to the skillet with the cream sauce. Stir to combine.

7. Serve chicken and sauce over cooked spaghetti, garnished with chopped parsley.


Notes

1. For a healthier version, you can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk.

2. Feel free to add some grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
