Description

This creamy, cheesy Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Casserole is a comforting, crowd-pleasing dish! It combines tender chicken, crispy bacon, gooey cheese, and crispy tater tots all smothered in a creamy ranch sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights, potlucks, or game-day gatherings.

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup additional shredded cheese (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Make the Creamy Ranch Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, and ranch seasoning mix until smooth.

  3. Add Chicken & Bacon: Stir in shredded chicken and crumbled bacon into the creamy mixture.

  4. Assemble the Casserole: Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the baking dish. Sprinkle 1½ cups shredded cheese over the top. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer.

  5. Bake Until Golden: Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown.

  6. Add Extra Cheese & Bacon: Remove from the oven, sprinkle ½ cup more cheese and extra bacon bits on top, and bake for 5 more minutes until melted.
