Description

    • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup (such as Campbell’s®)
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 2/3 cup ranch dressing
    • 1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
    • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
    • 5 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (from 1 [3 pound] chicken)
    • 4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    • 1 1/4 cups cooked and crumbled bacon (about 10 slices), divided
  • Toppings:

    • sliced scallions

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Casserole: In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, ranch dressing mix, black pepper, and garlic. Stir in the shredded chicken, Cheddar cheese, and half of the crumbled bacon. Spread this mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Add Tater Tots: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the chicken mixture.
  4. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle the remaining bacon on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  5. Serve: Garnish with sliced scallions before serving.
