Units
Scale
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed. - Roll Out the Dough
Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each piece into a 6-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. - Fill and Fold
Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture onto one half of each dough circle, leaving space at the edges. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges together and use a fork to crimp and seal. - Air Fry Until Golden
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Brush the calzones lightly with olive oil. Place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each one. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy. - Serve and Enjoy
Let the calzones cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with extra Alfredo sauce or marinara for dipping.
Notes
- Don’t overfill the calzones to prevent leaks.
- Seal the edges well using a fork or by pinching them together.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, bake at 400°F for 15-18 minutes.
- Add spinach, mushrooms, or bacon for extra flavor.
