Description

These Cheeseburger Sliders are a fun, bite-sized version of the classic burger. Juicy beef patties are topped with melted cheese, tangy pickles, and your favorite toppings, all nestled in soft slider buns. Perfect for parties, game days, or family dinners!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Patties:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Assembly:

  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese, halved
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)
  • Ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Patties:

  1. Preheat the Oven or Grill: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat your grill to medium-high.
  2. Mix the Beef: In a large bowl, combine ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
  3. Form the Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 12 small patties, slightly larger than the buns, as they will shrink while cooking.

Cook the Patties:

  1. Cook: Grill or bake the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assemble the Sliders:

  1. Add Cheese: During the last minute of cooking, place a piece of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  2. Prepare Buns: Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast them if desired.
  3. Assemble: Place the patties on the bottom buns. Top with pickles, lettuce, tomato, and your choice of condiments. Cover with the top buns.

Finish and Serve:

  1. Brush and Garnish: Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  2. Serve Warm: Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add sautéed onions or crispy bacon for extra flavor.
  • For a kid-friendly version, use American cheese and skip spicy condiments.
  • Sliders can be made ahead and reheated in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
