Description

These Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are a fun and delicious twist on the classic cheeseburger! Crispy on the outside with a savory, cheesy beef filling on the inside, these egg rolls are perfect for a snack, appetizer, or party treat. Easy to make and packed with flavor, theyโ€™re sure to be a hit with your family and friends!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup (for dipping)
  • 2 tablespoons mustard (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef with chopped onions, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked through, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with one corner pointing toward you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal the egg roll. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium heat. Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef for a lighter version.
  • Add pickles or bacon bits inside the egg rolls for extra cheeseburger flavor!
