Description

Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are an irresistible snack or appetizer packed with melty cheese, flavorful pepperoni, and a savory pizza crust. These bite-sized treats are perfect for game day, parties, or just when you’re craving a pizza-inspired snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.
  4. Place about a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese and 2-3 pieces of pepperoni in the center of each dough piece.
  5. Pinch the edges of the dough to seal the filling inside, shaping them into balls.
  6. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they don’t touch.
  7. Brush the tops with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve with pizza or marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute the pepperoni with other pizza toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
  • For a spicier twist, add a few slices of jalapeños inside each pizza bomb.
  • These can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days
