- 1 package (8 oz) pizza dough (or homemade dough)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.
- Place about a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese and 2-3 pieces of pepperoni in the center of each dough piece.
- Pinch the edges of the dough to seal the filling inside, shaping them into balls.
- Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they don’t touch.
- Brush the tops with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve with pizza or marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- You can substitute the pepperoni with other pizza toppings like cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
- For a spicier twist, add a few slices of jalapeños inside each pizza bomb.
- These can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days
