Cajun Cream Sauce:

  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach

Seafood:

  • 4 salmon fillets (4 ounces each), skin removed
  • 1 pound Jumbo shrimp, raw, peeled, deveined, tail on
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cajun Cream Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Slowly add cream and broth, simmer until thickened. Stir in cheese and spinach.
  2. Cook Seafood: Season salmon and shrimp with Cajun seasoning. Sear salmon in butter, then cook shrimp in oil. Serve over Cajun cream sauce, garnish with parsley.
