Description

Cajun Garlic Butter Steak Bites are packed with bold flavors and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. These juicy, perfectly seasoned steak bites are cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a spicy Cajun kick. Quick and easy, this dish is perfect for busy weeknights or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat the Pan: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until a golden crust forms. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Stir until the garlic is fragrant and the butter is fully melted, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Combine: Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce until coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to reheat the steak and meld the flavors.
  5. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For best results, use a well-marbled cut of beef such as sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin.
  • Adjust the Cajun seasoning for your spice preference.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or alongside roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
