Description

Tender steak bites seasoned with a flavorful Cajun blend and cooked in garlic butter for a rich and savory dish. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Cajun seasoning blend:

  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or less, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme

Steak bites:

  • 1 1/2 lbs. steak strip steak, sirloin, ribeye, etc.
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil divided
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic finely minced or grated
  • minced fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cajun seasoning: In a bowl, combine all the Cajun seasoning blend ingredients.
  2. Cook steak: Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and coat with the Cajun seasoning. Heat oil in a skillet and cook the steak until desired doneness.
  3. Make garlic butter: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Combine: Add cooked steak back to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference.
  • Serve with a side of rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
