Cajun seasoning blend:
- 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or less, to taste
- 1/2 tsp packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
Steak bites:
- 1 1/2 lbs. steak strip steak, sirloin, ribeye, etc.
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil divided
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic finely minced or grated
- minced fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Cajun seasoning: In a bowl, combine all the Cajun seasoning blend ingredients.
- Cook steak: Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and coat with the Cajun seasoning. Heat oil in a skillet and cook the steak until desired doneness.
- Make garlic butter: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Combine: Add cooked steak back to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter. Garnish with parsley before serving.

- Adjust the cayenne pepper to suit your spice preference.
- Serve with a side of rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
