- 1 can (24 oz) diced tomatoes

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 can (16 oz) Bush’s® Pinto Beans in a Mild Chili Sauce, undrained
- 1 can (16 oz) Bush’s® Kidney Beans in a Mild Chili Sauce, undrained

Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics: In a large pot, heat grapeseed oil over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion, green bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until softened, being careful not to overcook.
- Brown the Meat: Add ground turkey or beef to the pot. Cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Incorporate Tomato Paste: Stir in tomato paste, ensuring it coats the meat and vegetables evenly.
- Add Remaining Ingredients: Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water (if desired), black pepper, salt, chili powder, ancho chili powder, oregano, and sugar. Stir to combine.
- Simmer the Chili: Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add Beans: After 30 minutes, add the pinto and kidney beans along with their chili sauce. Stir to combine and continue to simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
- Serve: Ladle the chili into bowls and garnish with shredded cheddar cheese or your preferred toppings.
Notes
- For a milder chili, reduce the amount of chili powder.
- Feel free to customize with additional toppings like sour cream, diced onions, or jalapeños.
