- 1 package (12) dinner rolls (e.g., Hawaiian rolls)
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Cut the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble the eggs in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until just set.
- Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush with melted butter. If desired, mix garlic powder and parsley into the butter for extra flavor.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Swap bacon for sausage, ham, or a vegetarian option like sautéed mushrooms.
- Add vegetables like diced bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
- These rolls can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning.
