- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 medium onion chopped
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Fine Herbs & Garlic cheese softened
- 1–2 tablespoons chopped parsley to taste, optional
Instructions
- Season chicken: Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onion: In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent.
- Make sauce: Add chicken broth and Boursin cheese to the skillet. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
- Finish dish: Return chicken to the skillet and simmer until chicken is cooked through. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
Notes
- If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it out with a little more chicken broth.
- Feel free to add extra herbs or spices to customize the flavor of the dish.
