Description

Boursin Chicken is a creamy and flavorful dish made with tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich Boursin cheese sauce.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Fine Herbs & Garlic cheese softened
  • 12 tablespoons chopped parsley to taste, optional

Instructions

  1. Season chicken: Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook chicken: In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onion: In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion until translucent.
  4. Make sauce: Add chicken broth and Boursin cheese to the skillet. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
  5. Finish dish: Return chicken to the skillet and simmer until chicken is cooked through. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it out with a little more chicken broth.
  • Feel free to add extra herbs or spices to customize the flavor of the dish.
