Main Ingredients:
- 100 g | 3.5oz | 1 cup fresh or frozen and defrosted blueberries
- 2 tbsp simple syrup or 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice from one large lemon
- 2 tbsp egg white
- 100 ml | 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp gin
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters (optional)
- lemon peel to serve
Instructions
- Prepare Blueberry Mix: In a shaker, muddle the blueberries with simple syrup or sugar until well combined.
- Add Ingredients: Add lemon juice, gin, egg white, and Angostura Bitters to the shaker.
- Shake: Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with lemon peel and enjoy!
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup/sugar.
- For a vegan version, you can omit the egg white or use aquafaba as a substitute.
