Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Lightly dredge them in flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and caramelized.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the remaining flour and cook for another minute.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth, ensuring there are no lumps. Add Worcestershire sauce and thyme, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the gravy thickens.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
