  • 2 (3 ounce) packages ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, trimmed of fat and sliced into 1 1/2-inch strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds, garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Stir Fry the Beef and Broccoli: In a large skillet, heat sesame oil and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then stir fry until browned. Add broccoli and water, cover, and cook until broccoli is tender.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add the cooked noodles and sauce to the skillet, tossing everything together until well coated. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
