Description

These Baked Spinach Artichoke Wonton Cups are a delicious and easy appetizer perfect for any gathering. The crispy wonton cups are filled with a creamy spinach and artichoke mixture, topped with a blend of cheeses, and baked to perfection.

Ingredients:

  • 24 chilled wonton wrappers
  • 9 oz creamed spinach (frozen or freshly made)
  • 36 oz marinated artichoke hearts* (approx. 1/4-1/2 cup chopped)
  • 2 oz softened cream cheese (cut into 6-8 cubes)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/41/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • spray oil (avocado, olive, etc…)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix together the creamed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, cream cheese, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Assemble the wonton cups: Press each wonton wrapper into a muffin cup, forming a cup shape. Spoon the filling into each cup.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve: Allow the cups to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
