Description

These crispy, oven-baked potato wedges are coated in garlic and Parmesan cheese, offering a perfect balance of savory flavors. A healthier alternative to fried potatoes, they make an ideal side dish or snack.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes. Cut each potato into wedges, keeping the skin on.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the potato wedges to the bowl and toss them well to coat them in the seasoning mixture.
  5. Spread the potato wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
  8. Serve immediately, either on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wedges, broil them for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
  • You can substitute Parmesan with Asiago or Romano cheese for a different flavor.
