French Toast:
- 16–18 King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (or ~450-500g of bread)
- 5 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Sugar Topping:

- 2-3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
To Serve (optional):

- Fresh berries
Instructions
- Prepare Berry Compote: Combine berries, lemon juice, and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until berries break down, then set aside.
- Make Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese, heavy cream, and sugar until smooth.
- Assemble French Toast: Slice rolls in half, spread cheesecake filling between halves, then arrange in a baking dish.
- Whisk French Toast Mixture: Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Pour over assembled rolls.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
- Bake: Bake until golden and set.
