Description

This delicious appetizer combines the crunchiness of asparagus with the savory flavor of bacon, creating a perfect combination of textures and tastes.

Ingredients

– 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 6 slices bacon

– Ground black pepper to taste (Optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

2. Toss asparagus spears in olive oil and season with black pepper.

3. Divide asparagus into 6 bundles and wrap each bundle with a slice of bacon.

4. Place bundles on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender, about 20-25 minutes.

Notes

– To add a kick of flavor, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese over the asparagus before wrapping them in bacon.

– For a healthier option, you can use turkey bacon instead of traditional bacon.
