Ingredients
Marinade
– 1 pound ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch bite-size pieces
– 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
– 2 teaspoons sweet soy sauce
– 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
– 1 teaspoon cornstarch
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Sauce
– 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
– 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon honey
– 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (such as sambal oelek)
– 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients.
2. Add the steak pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
3. In a separate bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients.
4. Heat a skillet over high heat and cook the marinated steak pieces until browned and cooked to your desired level.
5. Pour the sauce over the cooked steak and stir to combine.
6. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
– For a spicy kick, add more chili garlic sauce to the sauce mixture.
