Main Ingredients:
- 1 pound thick-cut bacon, diced
- 1 large yellow onion, finely diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
- 2 small Fuji apples, peeled, diced (about 2 cups)

For the Jam:
- 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (79 g) maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 tablespoons whiskey
Instructions
- Cook Bacon: In a large skillet, cook diced bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté Onion and Apples: In the same skillet, sauté onions and apples until softened.
- Add Remaining Ingredients: Stir in garlic, brown sugar, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, chili powder, and whiskey. Cook until mixture thickens.
- Blend: Transfer mixture to a food processor and pulse until desired consistency is reached.
- Store: Transfer jam to jars and refrigerate. Serve on toast, burgers, or cheese boards.
