Main Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 to 3 pounds Golden Delicious apples (4-5 large apples)
- 1 cup water
- 5 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- 1 3–ounce pouch Sure-Jell Liquid Pectin
- 2 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice
Instructions
- Prepare Apples: Peel, core, and chop the apples.
- Cook Apples: In a large pot, combine apples, water, and sugar. Cook until apples are soft.
- Add Remaining Ingredients: Stir in butter, pectin, and apple pie spice. Cook for a few more minutes.
- Jar and Store: Ladle the jam into sterilized jars and seal. Store in a cool, dark place.
