Best of all, they come together in just 30 minutes, making them a quick and delicious addition to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and milk. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 3-5 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  5. Place the dough balls into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, ensuring they are close together. Cover with a clean towel and let them rise in a warm spot for about 15 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. After the rolls have risen, bake them in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. While the rolls are baking, melt the softened butter and mix in the garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Once the rolls are done, remove them from the oven and immediately brush with the garlic Parmesan butter mixture.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra cheesy rolls, sprinkle more grated Parmesan on top just before baking. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
